About us
Under the umbrella of the IDEA Committee, we are a trainee-led group established in 2023. As part of our efforts to build a strong community and increase a sense of belonging, we host several annual multicultural events (i.e., international potluck and loteria day) to celebrate the rich and diverse backgrounds and cultures at the NIDA IRP.
Mission statement
The purpose of this group is to promote empowerment, diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility for all our communities through encouragement and support. Additionally, we aim to provide networking opportunities for members to connect and learn about our diverse cultures, traditions, and career paths. We strongly think that we all have the ability to promote a culture of acceptance and inclusion here at the NIDA IRP.
