Brain Awareness Week March 3/11/19 -3/17/19
BAW is global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research. This year, BAW will be held at Sparrows Point High School on March 15th. Wellness events have included writing cards of gratitude for friends and family for the holidays and activities that increase mindfulness such as seated stretches and guided breathing, designed to revitalize mood and productivity.

Registration for the Postbac Poster Day 2019 is now open. NIH May 2, NIDA May 29.
Postbac Poster Day 2019 will be held on Thursday, May 2nd, 2019, at the Natcher Conference Center (Building 45) on the main campus in Bethesda from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm. Postbac Poster Day is your time to display the research you have been conducting at the NIH and at the same time develop your communication and networking skills. We encourage all current NIH Postbacs in the Bethesda area, Baltimore, Frederick, and Research Triangle Park (NC) to present at this event. All posters will be reviewed by teams composed of graduate students, postdocs, and staff scientists. The authors of the top 20% will receive a letter acknowledging their accomplishments. Note: The first author is responsible for presenting the poster and eligible to win an outstanding poster award.
