Events – August 2018

Weekly LGBTQ+ and Ally Party and Gay Pride Walk

PostBacNewsletterAugust2018_004

LGBTQ+ group plans to attend Baltimore’s Pride Party.

Come join the LGBTQ+ organization for a Pride party! We’ll have enjoyed a great weekend celebrating diversity and want to continue it onto the work week! There are going to be snacks and refreshments, as well as information on some lesser known LGBTQ+ identities. Come with questions or just come to hang out! The meeting is in Room 03A519 on Monday, June 18th at 1pm. People of all genders, orientations, and various walks of life are welcome.

Baltimore’s Pride parade is on Saturday June 16th this year. The parade will be from 1-3 PM down N. Charles St. with a Block Party in Station North afterwards. Check out the Baltimore Pride website for more details! Several members of the NIDA/NIA LGBTQ+ organization will be there (**not representing the NIH**), so if anyone is interested in going, but needs a group to go with, please reach out to us! Contact Divya Seth (divya.seth@nih.gov) or Adam Cornish (adam.cornish@nih.gov) if you’re interested or have any questions regarding Baltimore Pride or the LGBTQ+ organization.
