The Graduate Partnership Program (GPP) provides graduate students with the opportunity to conduct all or part of their dissertation research at NIDA.  Students come to NIDA either as part of formal institutional partnerships with NIH or via individual agreements negotiated between their university mentor and a NIDA investigator.  In all cases, degrees are granted by the university partner.

Most GPP students find an NIH lab through their graduate advisor or by knowing an NIH Principal Investigator.  A list of NIDA investigators and a summary of their research interests can be found here.

OECD Library

The OECD has a library of GRE and MCAT study materials and books on scientific writing, mentoring, career development, teaching, time management, networking, and careers in science.  If you’d like to borrow any of these books, contact Rolanda Morris at 667-312-5390 or OECD@nih.gov.

Tax information

You can find tax information in the NIH GPP [PDF], including a link to the federal quarterly estimated tax form, 1040ES.  The Maryland estimated tax form [PDF] is 502D.
