Shannon Pfistner, M.A.

Research Interests

Shannon Pfistner, MA is a Scientific Program Coordinator in the Office of the Clinical Director, NIDA IRP. Shannon has a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and has worked within the IRP for over 15 years. She has extensive experience in the field of participant recruitment and screening and currently serves as the team lead for the NIDA IRP OCD’s . Shannon’s additional support of the clinical program includes the coordination and oversight of the execution (including IRB actions) for the NIDA IRP omnibus screening clinical protocol and the coordination of the Protocol Implementation Meeting (PIM) for all new clinical protocols in the NIDA IRP clinical portfolio. Shannon also serves as a member of the joint NIDA/NIAAA Intramural Research Program Auditing Committee (IRPAC).
