Sarah Cardenas, MSW, LMSW

Research Interests

Sarah Cardenas, MSW, LMSW is a Clinical Research Counselor in the Office of the Clinical Director. Sarah earned her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Denver in 2017 and is now a licensed masters-level social worker in Maryland. She has experience providing substance use counseling, counseling for people living with HIV/AIDS, and substance use prevention with at-risk youth. Sarah currently serves as a counselor in the NIDA IRP OCD where she works with research participants to screen, assess and evaluate mental health and substance use disorders.
