Research Interests
Renee graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Chemistry in 2024. During her time as an undergraduate, she conducted research in the Li Lab examining the neurobiology of drug relapse and craving in animal models. Renee joined the laboratory of Dr. Amy Newman in the Medicinal Chemistry Section of the Molecular Targets and Medications Discovery Branch as a post-baccalaureate IRTA Fellow in 2024. She is currently working to synthesize and characterize D3 selective partial agonists.
