Research Interests
Tarun received his Ph.D in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University and joined the Hope lab in 2014. He is developing methods and tools for monitoring neuronal ensemble in rats with high spatial and temporal specificity, both during and after behavior. He is specifically interested in how discriminative stimuli predicting drug availability are encoded in the brain and then lead to persistent and maladaptive drug-seeking behaviors.
