Marianne Garrett, P.A.-C.

Research Interests

Marianne Garrett is a national board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) serving the Neuroimaging Research Branch (NRB) at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). She graduated from Mount Holyoke College with dual BS degrees in Biological Sciences and Music.  She worked in research and completed a Master of Art in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Health Sciences from George Washington University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program. She brings to NIH/NIDA over twenty years of clinical experience and has worked in various fields, including surgery, pain management and women’s health.  As a PA, she supports the mission of NIDA to advance science on drug use and addiction and to apply that knowledge to improve individual and public health.
