Maria Laura Zuccoli, M.D., Ph.D.

Background

Maria Laura obtained her medical degree from the University of Genoa in Genoa, Italy and completed her residency in Toxicology at the University of Florence in Italy. She joined the Aponte lab in 2016 as a Ph.D. candidate in Experimental Medicine at the University of Genoa. Maria Laura graduated from University of Genoa in 2019, and subsequently left the lab to complete a postdoctoral fellowship in the Solomon H. Snyder Department of Neuroscience (Advisor: Dr. David Linden) at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
