Margo Slomp

Background

Margo joined the Aponte lab as a visiting graduate student from the University of Amsterdam working on a project in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Susanne la Fleur from the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychobiology from the University of Amsterdam, after which she started the master’s program in Cellular and Network Neuroscience at the same university. She joined the lab for a short period of time in 2018 to use in vivo two-photon endomicroscopy to study how genetically-identified cell types in the lateral hypothalamus respond to food intake.
