Research Interests

Ms. Lois Blue, LPN is a Clinical Research Nurse in the NIDA IRP Office of the Clinical Director. Ms. Blue possesses a BS in Healthcare Administration and over 35 years of direct patient care in the private and federal healthcare systems with extensive professional experience and training in the care and management of patients with addiction. In addition to providing clinical care, Ms. Blue provides nursing support in protocol implementation, data collection and human subject protection including adherence and implementation to SOP’s, Clinical Care Policies and Point of Care testing with a focus on patient safety, continuity of care and informed participation. Ms. Blue also serves as the lead coordinator for CPR/AED Training at the NIDA IRP.
