La’Roz Leggett, M.S.

Research Interests

LaRoz graduated with a BS in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry from Towson University and a Master of Science in Clinical Research from Campbell University with honors. LaRoz join the CPN team with extensive experience and expertise conducting pre-clinical and clinical research in both the private and public sectors. Research interests include psychopharmacology, behavioral neuroscience, and the bidirectional communication between gut microbiota and the central nervous system in relation to neuropsychiatric disorders. In addition, Ms. Leggett works to promote diversity, inclusion, and equity in clinical research, specifically within underrepresented minority populations through education and outreach. Ms. Leggett will serve as a Study Coordinator supporting the conduct of all human subjects research conducted by the CPN team.
