Research Interests

Dr. Klodian Haka received his medical degree from University of Florence in Italy in 2013 and moved to USA in 2014. Dr. Haka has extensive experience in all areas of human subjects research having worked as Clinical Data Manager, Clinical Research Monitor, and Senior Protocol Navigator. Dr. Haka comes to NIDA from the NIH Clinical Center, Office of Research Support and Compliance (ORSC) where he worked as Senior Protocol Navigator. As Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist in Office of the Clinical Director, he will support the NIDA IRP with the safe and ethical conduct of clinical research on human subjects, ensuring applicable regulations, guidelines and Best Clinical Practices are followed.
