Research Interests

CDR John Hubbard is a Physician Assistant (PA-C) who joined the Office of the Clinical Director, NIDA IRP in 2010. John earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from George Washington University in 1996 and completed a Family practice fellowship from the University of Nebraska in 2004. He was a USPHS Senior co-step in 1995 working in the Bureau of Prisons as a PHS officer from 1996- 1998. From 1998-2009, he worked in both the private and public health sectors in emergency, occupational health and Army Reserve. In 2009, John recommissioned in the USPHS and is currently enrolled in the DMSc program at the University of Lynchburg with projected graduation in December of 2023.
