Research Interests
Jenna Sanfilippo joined CPN in August 2020. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology. Her undergraduate research focused the serotonin system with focus on the growth patterns of serotonin neurons and their functional relationship with glial cells. Jenna’s roles in CPN include providing support with recruitment, screening efforts, as well as support with human laboratory studies testing the role of the gut-liver-brain axis in alcohol-seeking behaviors.
