Research Interests
Dr. Hung Do earned his BS in chemistry from the University of Kansas in 2019, followed by a PhD in computational biology in 2023, where his research centered on enhanced sampling and machine learning approaches to biomolecular dynamics. He then spent time at Los Alamos National Laboratory as a postdoctoral researcher, working across a broad range of topics including multiscale molecular dynamics, protein design, machine learning, and agentic AI. In 2026, he joined NIDA as a staff scientist in the Computational Chemistry and Molecular Biophysics Section, where his current work focuses on the conformational dynamics of arrestin and strategies for modulating its interactions with G-protein-coupled receptors.
