Research Interests

Ms. Golie Miamee has joined the NIDA IRP Recruitment & Outreach team as a Health Communication Strategist. Before joining NIDA, Golie served as a Recruitment Specialist with the Clinical Center’s Office of Patient Recruitment and as an IT specialist with the Office of the Department of Clinical Research Informatics (DCRI) at the beginning of her career with the NIH, starting in 2001.

Golie has received her degrees from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in Computer Science and Digital Art and an MS. Ed. in Instructional Technology. Throughout her career, Golie has applied her education in Computer Science as an IT Specialist; Graphics Design, and education-in-outreach as a Recruitment Specialist; and will now be honing her skills as a graphic designer.
She will be supporting and providing all graphic marketing needs to her immediate Recruitment & Outreach team as well as work closely with clinical investigators and research team members within the NIDA IRP.
