Garrick Sherman, Ph.D.

Research Interests

Garrick Sherman joins the NIDA IRP as a Biostatistician in the Office of the Clinical Director (OCD). Garrick received his PhD in Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2019, where he studied search engine design and evaluation. Prior to joining NIDA, Garrick worked as a data scientist at the University of Pennsylvania using machine learning, digital phenotyping, and other computational approaches to conduct social science research in collaboration with researchers in the health, psychology, and business fields.
