Research Interests
Emma Gogarnoiu received her B.S. in Chemistry from Pennsylvania State University in 2019, where she conducting research characterizing novel metal-binding proteins under the mentorship of Prof. Joseph A Cotruvo. Emma joined the laboratory of Dr. Amy H. Newman in the Medicinal Chemistry Section of the Molecular Targets and Medications Discovery Branch as a post-baccalaureate IRTA Fellow, in 2019. She currently works on the synthesis of selective D3 agonists/antagonists.
