Background
De’jah is a current third-year undergraduate at the Pennsylvania State University studying Biobehavioral Health with minors in Neuroscience and African American studies. She worked as an intern for the Aponte Lab in the summer of 2022 as part of the NIH/NIDA Recruitment & Training to Unlock Research Potential in Science Program. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a Ph.D. studying neuroscience and addictive behaviors.
