Alex Gadiano, B.A.

Research Interests

Alexandra (Alex) Gadiano graduated from Colgate University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry. She is currently an IRTA post-baccalaureate fellow in the Medicinal Chemistry section of the Molecular Targets and Medications Discovery Branch. Alex is working on projects in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins Drug Discovery, Brain Science Institute (BSI) testing the in-vitro metabolism, pharmacokinetics and blood brain barrier penetration of novel D2-like ligands and dopamine transport (DAT) inhibitors synthesized in the Medicinal Chemistry Section.
