NIDA Community Art Collective

Join us in transforming our clinical spaces through the power of art and creating a supportive community for all.

Located within the National Institute on Drug Abuse’s Biomedical Research Center (BRC) in Baltimore, MD, the NIDA Community Art Collective is a unique art gallery dedicated to fostering healing and awareness through art. Our gallery serves as a bridge between independent artists, non-profit organizations, and the field of medicine, creating a space where art and healing intersect in a visually and emotionally enriching environment.

Our Mission

The NIDA Community Art Collective is committed to pairing relevant, impactful art with the practice of medicine there to promote healing and create a supportive environment for patients, volunteers, and employees. We aim to transform clinical spaces into aesthetically pleasing areas that inspire and uplift by showcasing art that resonates with recovery, resilience, and hope toward destigmatizing addiction care and treatment.  All artwork displayed is by donation only and the artist retains full ownership.
