Chinmay Bakshi

Background

Chinmay is a summa cum laude graduate (May 2021) of the University of Cincinnati, where he earned a B.S. in Neurobiology and a B.A. in Medicine, Health & Society. As an undergraduate student, Chinmay was heavily involved in biomedical research, earning him a Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship his sophomore year. He joined the Aponte Lab in the summer of 2021 through the NIH/NIDA Summer Internship Program. His goal is to work at the intersection of clinical practice and research to tackle tomorrow’s pressing challenges in healthcare.
