Aaron J. Barrett

Research Interests

Mr. Aaron Barrett joined the NIDA IRP as a Clinical Research Nurse in the Clinical Psychoneuroendocrinology and Neuropsychopharmacology Section (CPN). He comes to NIDA with extensive professional experience in patient centered care and management of the acutely and critically ill neurological patient population. In addition to providing clinical care for the CPN section, Aaron provides nursing support in protocol implementation and data collection; human subject protection including adherence and implementation of SOPs, Clinical Care Policies, and Point of Care testing focusing on patient safety, continuity of care, and informed participation.
