Research Interests

Angela joined the Aponte in January 2023 as part of the NIDA-UMBC Research Internship Program. After graduating from University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) in December 2023 with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, she continued in the lab as a postbaccalaureate fellow. Angela plans to pursue a PhD in neuroscience.
