If you are a former cigarette smoker who was able to quit, you are someone pretty amazing. Here at the National Institute on Drug Abuse in Baltimore, a division of NIH, we need you for a research study to help understand how you were able to stop smoking when so many others can’t. Study participation is quick and easy. We’ll ask you to fill out questionnaires, provide blood and urine samples, and have MRI scans done of your brain. You will be paid for your time, up to $230 for completing the entire study. You’ll even receive an image of your brain on a T-shirt. To see if you qualify, visit researchstudies.drugabuse.gov or call 1-866-START-NOW.
